The Team of the Week for Round 4 see’s APIA Leichhardt Tigers Ryan Norval earn his spot with a Man of the Match performance against Sydney Olympic.
Norval kept his side in the match, making several goal-stopping saves to allow APIA to hold on for a draw against a pressing Olympic.
A round that featured four out of the six scheduled matches due to washouts meant four teams missed out on the opportunity to feature in Round 4’s Team of the Week.
Sydney United 58 FC’s Stjepan Paric takes his spot at left back with a brace from the spot while Marconi Stallions work horse Chris Nunes takes his place on the right side of defence.
Captain of Sydney United 58 FC Ibrahim Haydar and Marconi Stalions’ Brendan Rhodes make up the centre of defence.
Kierean Paull was instrumental in helping Manly United to their first win of the season and finds himself at left midfield, while Sydney United 58’s Panny Nikas’ cameo off the bench and two goals have earned him his place on the right.
In the centre of midfield it’s David Talevski who scored the only goal of the game to see the Marconi Stallions register win number one of the season.
Despite his side going down, in form Rockdale City Suns attacker Marko Jesic takes his spot in a front three alongside Sydney United 58 FC’s on fire Robbie Mileski and Sydney Olympic’s goal scoring machine Go Shirai.
