Football NSW Chief Executive Officer Stuart Hodge stated that the event accomplished its intention in celebrating the launch of all National Premier Leagues NSW competitions.
“I’m thrilled to be able to enjoy the launch of this season with so many of those that champion this competition.
“The NPL in New South Wales is a very important part of the football landscape and player pathway in Australia and I know it will continue to strengthen with what will be a solid 2019 football season for all involved.
“Season launches are wonderful occasions to come together socially and catch up with old friends, and even adversaries, but in football terms they are a time for optimism, for positivity, for anticipation, for expectation and hopefulness for the coming season.
“It’s a great way to launch the year with our blockbuster live stream deal that will see us watch a plethora of football action each and every NPL weekend from both top tiers of our NPL as well as a match of the round in the NPL 2 NSW Men’s.
“I would like to wish all the clubs the best of luck as I know we will be treated to some fantastic football this year.”
Both the National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s and Women’s competitions commence on Sunday the 10th of March with some huge clashes that are sure to light up both leagues to kick off round 1 proceedings.
Sportswear giant MITRE will once again support the competition as the Official Ball of the NPL NSW Men’s and Women’s Competitions using the Delta Max for each of the respective matches this season.
