National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s side Sutherland Sharks have continued its recruitment by adding former Sydney FC NPL skipper Liam McGing to its player roster for the remainder of the NPL NSW Men’s season.

The 20-year-old defender capped off his Sky Blues career by playing a full senior game in Sydney FC’s 4-0 final round AFC Asian Champions League loss  to Japanese giants Kawasaki Frontale on Tuesday.

McGing will no doubt bring steel to the Sharks defence as coach Terry Palapanis hopes will sure up the squad who are looking towards upsetting Sydney Olympic for the second time in 2019 with their round 12 clash on Saturday at Seymour Shaw.

The Sharks’ only victory for 2019 thus far was their round 1 clash against Abbas Saad’s men but since then, have gone off the boil.

The club also completed the signing of former Western Sydney Wanderers NPL player Alexander Lopez.
