On the back of losing club stalwart Nick Stavroulakis to the APIA Leichhardt Tigers, Sydney United 58 have moved swiftly in recruiting former fan favourite Tomislav Uskok from the Melbourne Knights for the remainder of the National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s season.

The 27-year-old big bustling defender returned to Melbourne after he spent a solid season with Sydney United 58 during the 2016-2017 season where he made 34 appearances for the club.

Born and bred in Melbourne, Uskok again starred for the Knights and led from the back as he steered his side to victories during his return catching the attention of potential Hyundai A-League suitors.

Having played in Australia’s premier competition with the Central Coast Mariners in 2015-2016, Uskok is hoping his move to Sydney may generate more interest at A-League level.
