National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s outfit Wollongong Wolves have stated their hunger in bringing back the silverware for the 2022 season with Luke Wilkshire announcing six key signings for the new year.

Four former Wolves players have once again resigned with the club with the likes of midfielder and former NSW representative Guy Knight, tough tackling defender Nick Littler and ace marksmen Peter Simonoski and Josh Macdonald all agreeing to terms with the club they all once played for.

Both Knight and Littler were part of Wilkshire’s Premiership and NPL Finals Series winning squad in 2019 with the duo ready to hit those high targets once more in the new year.

All four will bring a wealth of experience and quality to Wilkshire’s side as they hope to instil a winning success and formula, they had experienced especially in 2019.

Joining the four will also be former Rockdale Ilinden star Japanese defender Banri Kanaizumi and fellow countryman, ex-Mt Druitt Town Rangers attacking midfielder Takumu Tsujimura.

“I wanted my squad complete as soon as possible,” said former Socceroo Wilkshire.

“Now that we have selected our squad, I really cannot wait to work with all the boys and getting the 2022 NPL NSW Men’s season underway.”

The likes of Hamish Lamberton, Van Elia, Ethan Kambisios, Daniel Loe, Hayden Munford, Liam Wille, Josh Alcorn, Fletcher Macfarland and former NSW representative defender Taylor McDonald will all sport different kits in 2022 after ending their ties with the Wolves.
