Sydney United 58 have appointed Joe Haywood as its First Team Head Coach for the 2022 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s season.

Haywood is no stranger to the NPL NSW Men’s competition as he took charge of the North Shore Mariners squad during the 2020 season and has since held positions as the Director of Football at Northbridge FC and the Technical Director at Macarthur FC.

The 41-year-old replaces Tomi Vidovic who has moved on from Edensor Park returning to his former club at the Western Sydney Wanderers taking up a role as head coach of their Football NSW League One Men’s side.

The club will be looking towards the 2022 season with renewed hope in achieving success with a couple of key player announcements set to be announced shortly.

The likes of  seasoned stars such as Patrick Antelmi, Chris Payne, Glen Trifiro, Matthew Bilic, Yianni Fragogiannis, Yianni Perkatis, Jacob Poscoliero, Tariq Maia, and skipper Adrian Vlastelica have all re-signed for the new year.
