Round 7 NPL NSW Men’s ‘Team of the Week’
The Easter bunny came early for eleven National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s players who proved to be standouts during their round 7 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s matches.
Even though their match ended one-a-piece against Manly United, Stallions keeper Nenad Vekic was at his very best thwarting the Northern Beaches from taking home three points with his outstanding display underneath the sticks.
The defence was stacked full of quality with the APIA duo of Walter Scott and Themba Muata-Marlow keeping yet another clean sheet alongside Marconi’s Taylor McDonald and Sydney Olympic skipper Michael Glassock all receiving praises for their performances.
The midfield was dominated by two Japanese star imports, Mt Druitt Town Rangers’ Fumoto Kamada and Blacktown City’s Hiroaki Aoyama who both played superbly in their respective matches.
To add to the overseas star line-up in midfield, Manly United’s Brazilian maestro Bruno Mendes did enough to get himself amongst the star-studded pack.
The attack for round 7 is probably seen as one of the most lethal yet.
Rockdale Ilinden’s ‘Mr Consistency’ Alec Urosevski gained yet another mention while Blacktown City’s Jordan Smylie and Sydney Olympic’s marquee signing of Roy O’Donovan both conclude a fierce attacking force.
Congrats to all players for their inclusions in this week’s Round 7 NPL NSW Men’s ‘Team of the Week’.
