National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s side Sydney United 58 have appointed former coach Miro Vlastelica as the interim head coach for the remainder of the 2022 season.

Vlastelica coached the senior squad in 2019 where the club finished Grand Finalists losing out to APIA Leichhardt but stepped down following that match for personal reasons.

The club parted company with Joe Haywood on Monday with Vlastelica given the task to take charge of the squad’s round 10 clash against Manly United tonight in a bid to stop the rut and falling behind the top five placings.

Sydney United 58 currently sit in eighth spot with ten points from nine matches.
