Round 11 NPL NSW Men’s Team of the Week
We have officially reached the halfway point in what has been an enthralling 2022 NPL NSW Men’s competition, whilst clubs have battled their way for points so have the players who have thrown their weight in getting amongst the regular ‘Team of the Week’ setup.
With player rating points to be hidden as of this weekend onwards (reminder these points will go towards announcing the 2022 NPL NSW Men’s Team of the Year), you will still see the regular Team of the Week line-up promoted.
Round 11 saw a number of quality performances, the return to the NPL for A-League Macarthur Bulls star Lachlan Rose was one of the standouts. With the A-League side out of finals contention, the Northbridge Bulls will have the luxury of calling upon the likes of Rose and other fellow young first team squad members to ensure that facing Mile Strejovski’s men will by no means be an easy feat.
The strike-force for Round 11 features Sydney FC’s star attacker Patrick Wood alongside Stallions’ quality skipper Marko Jesic and APIA’s Jack Armson.
Along with Rose, the midfield features Mt Druitt’s Japanese star import Fumoto Kamada along with Sydney Olympic’s Darcy Burgess and Wollongong Wolves’ Josh Macdonald.
There’s a Manly United feel in the backline with Jimmy Oates and Kieran Paull involved with yet another Wolves player and youngster Senna Stevenson.
Sydney Olympic’s promising young keeper Nick Sorras puts the icing on the cake in what is a solid ‘Team of the Week’ line-up featuring some new faces.
Congrats to all players for their inclusions in this week’s Round 11 NPL NSW Men’s ‘Team of the Week’.
