Round 12 NPL NSW Men’s Team of the Week
Let’s take a moment to celebrate this week’s NPL NSW Men’s ‘Team of the Week’ for Round 12 as now enter the business end of the season.
As is tradition, the 3-2-1 Player Ratings for the second half of the season will not be visible, creating the suspense for what will be an exciting 2022 NPL NSW Men’s Team of the Year come end of the season.
The selection of the ‘Team of the Week’ however does not stop.
Sydney FC faired prominently this week with golden boys Jaiden Kucharski and Zac Sapsford gaining mentions while Sydney Olympic also had two inclusions with keeper Nick Sorras continuing his great form in 2022 alongside defender Nikola Ujdur.
Sutherland Sharks had Chris Lindsay feature while the Wollongong Wolves had their Japanese defender Banri Kanaizumi grab a position also.
Manly United’s Alen Aganovic gained his first ‘Team of the Week’ mention while Marconi’s hard working midfielder Conor Evans and Blacktown City’s Mitch Mallia grabbed the attention of our journalists over the weekend.
Sydney United 58’s win, finally, saw Chris Payne bag a spot once more while there was yet another new face in APIA Leichhardt’s Argentine striker Diego Celis who impressed in his side’s 4-1 victory the Mt Druitt Town Rangers.
Congrats to all players for their inclusions in this week’s Round 12 NPL NSW Men’s ‘Team of the Week’.
