What a glorious day to promote this wonderful sport following our Socceroos’ qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar as round 15 of the #NPLNSW Men’s Team of the Week hits centre stage.

Kicking things off from the back, Sydney United 58’s number one Danijel Nizic had a ripper of a match as he kept a clean sheet against the Northbridge Bulls in their 1-0 win.

The backline features Manly United’s always reliable Kieren Paull gain the honours alongside two notable NPL NSW Men’s figures in Rockdale Ilinden’s Mitchell Stamatellis and United 58’s Yianni Fragogiannis both having fantastic matches for their respective clubs.

The midfield is blessed with Sydney Olympic’s Adam Parkhouse, APIA’s Sean Symons, Wollongong Wolves’ Josh Macdonald and Sydney United 58’s Yianni Perkatis piecing together a formidable line-up.

For those that have not checked out the United 58 highlights over the weekend, you best do so as Perkatis bagged himself an absolute ‘worldie’.

While finally the attack showcases some very familiar faces that have really made the ‘Team of the Week’ theirs.

Sydney FC’s Jaiden Kucharski arguably has to be one of the hottest young players in the league and showed again against Manly United what he is capable of doing.

Even though he didn’t hit the back of the net, this young man’s talent is for there to be seen by all and something we will no doubt see when he features in Steve Corica’s senior A-League side next season.

Joining Kucharski is regular star attacker, Ilinden’s Baker, Alec Urosevski who single handedly destroyed Marconi on his own smashing home a hat-trick.

While finally, the Mt Druitt Town Rangers have really had one main player that has kept the club going through the good and bad times and that has been the performances of Jack Stewart.

There should be a stand named after Stewart at Popondetta Park as he’s been incredible for what has been a tough year for the club.

Congrats to all players for their inclusions in this week’s Round 15 NPL NSW Men’s ‘Team of the Week’.
