Charles Lokolingoy swaps Stallions for Malta
Current National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s high-flyers Marconi Stallions will be hoping to clinch the 2022 Premiership with only a handful full of matches to go minus one of their biggest stars in ace marksman Charles Lokolingoy who this week penned a deal with Maltese Challenge League outfit Zebbug Rangers.
The 25-year-old made the move to the beautiful nation of Malta following his seven-goal haul for the Stallions during this year’s NPL NSW Men’s campaign.
Lokolingoy will be a huge loss to the NPL NSW Men’s competition but the opportunity to play in Europe was too hard to pass up for the former A-League player.
Stallions assistant coach Peter Papoythis pieced some beautiful words to their beloved marksman following his transfer move.
“From Marconi to Malta, congratulations Charles from everyone at the club, we wish you all the success in the world.
“Keep working hard, the boys here will be cheering you on from down under.”
With three NPL NSW Men’s matches remaining, the Stallions currently sit in top spot with 36 points, two more than their closest rivals Blacktown City.
Good luck with your travels and journey Charles.
