It was a memorable 2022 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s season for Sydney FC as coach Jimmy Van Weeren was whiskers away from seeing his youthful side play finals series football.
The talent on show from the Sky Blues in 2022 was there to be seen by all as the likes of Aaron Gurd, Nathan Grimaldi, Zac Sapsford, Oscar Priestman, Adrian Segecic, Jake Girdwood-Reich and 2022 NPL NSW Men’s Player of the Year recipient Jaiden Kucharski all made huge impacts in what was a great showing by the young talented stars.
Van Weeren will once again have some fantastic young guns at his disposal with eight players from their 20’s squad earning NPL contracts for the 2023 season including Harry Aquilina, Dejan Bakrdanikoski, Hayden Matthews, Nathan Paull, Louis Agosit, Zane Schreiber, Luke Smyth, and Alen Harbad ready to make a name for themselves.
Former Sydney United 58 youngsters Bailey Callaghan and Max Buratto will also be donning the Sky Blues jersey for 2023 as will Ayouk Mow who is one to look out for next season.
