Haliti prepping his Sydney Olympic troops for a huge year

Sydney Olympic FC’s new coach Labinot Haliti has been busily preparing his Blues squad for a massive 2023 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s season as he sets his sights on the Premiership.

The former iconic NSL club have been busy in the off-season having snapped up some decent names with former Central Coast Mariners and Western Sydney Wanderers defender Ziggy Gordon and ex-Australian Youth International Nick Fitzgerald headlining the Blues’ 2023 signings.

Hard-working ex-Rockdale Ilinden defender Michael Neill and former Manly United youngster James Georgaklis have also made the move to Belmore while the club has re-signed several its 2022 stars such as reigning Golden Boot winner Roy O’Donovan, Adam Parkhouse, Darcy Burgess, Oliver Puflett Ben Van Meurs, Christopher Gligor, Fabio Ferreira and Nick Sorras.

One of the club’s leading stalwarts Will Angel will be raring to go for another year as Haliti hopes he can hit the ground running in his first year as the head coach of one of the NPL NSW Men’s powerhouse clubs.
