Manly United keeping it local for 2024

National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW outfit Manly United have moved swiftly in retaining twelve of its 2023 squad members as coach Patrick Zwaanswijk continues to build for the 2024 season.

Keeping it local, the Northern Beaches outfit retained Alen Aganovic, Bilal Belkadi, Tom Fay, Finn Ashton, Levi Kaye, Ben Koop, Max Martinello, Harry McCarthy, Kieren Paull, Jesse Piriz, Connor Rose and Stefan Visscher while the exciting Saxon Hillyer was promoted from the club’s 20’s squad.

Three new faces have been added to the 2024 roster with Zac Sfiligoi, Joe Fox and Peter Kekeris all set to don Manly United kits for the upcoming season.

The club was dealt with five departures with Japanese import Seiya Kambayashi signing for APIA Leichhardt FC, Dom Ferguson switching to local football, Brazilian maestro Bruno Mendes returning to his homeland, former club captain Jimmy Oates relocating to Newcastle and Matthew Sim announcing his retirement.

With several triallists currently on display at Cromer Park, Manly United is set to acquire a few more new faces before the 2024 line-up is settled.
