New look Mariners ready to roll in 2024
It’s going to be a new era for Central Coast Mariners’ National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW side under the watchful eye of incoming manager Lucas Vilela.
Vilela will field almost a brand-new outfit as the youthful Mariners embark on a busy season ahead in NSW’s Premier men’s competition.
The likes of Nicholas Duarte, Sasha Kuzevski, Amponsah Antwi, Dylan Peraic-Cullen and Bailey Brandtman return along with Jack Warshawsky.
With several players moving on to rival NPL Men’s NSW club’s Vilela has recruited a few handy players with former Sydney FC youth product Luka Smyth the pick of the bunch.
The likes of Cher Deng, Andre Parkes, Matej Busek, Donatien Niyonkuru, Jacob Tresoglavic, Harry Menham and Lucas Scicluna are just some of the names to watch out for this year.
The Mariners take on Sydney United 58 in their first match of the season on Saturday 17th of February at Pluim Park.
