Max Court breaks APIA record
Rising young 15-year-old footballer Max Court created history with NPL Men’s NSW club APIA Leichhardt FC in their round 30 clash against NWS Spirit FC becoming the youngest player to debut for the historic club.
The APIA junior who has also worn the NSW state team jersey at the recent Nationals in Wollongong has been touted by many as one to look out for impressed on his debut.
“Max is an extremely talented footballer, who has a fantastic work ethic and attitude,” said APIA Leichhardt FC spokesman Nick Rizzo.
“His performances and improvement this season are a testament to his hard work, dedication, and commitment to achieving his goal of being professional footballer.
“Max’s football career at APIA commenced SAP 9’s program, where he was part of a four day a week, intense training program designed to develop elite young players.
“Max is one of a number of young talents we have in our SAP and Youth programs.
“There is no doubt that Max has a bright future. He is the first of many footballers that APIA sees as emerging in the near future and a symbol of our commitment to developing and promoting young talent.”
