Temelkovski ready to show his worth in Australia’s top tier competition
Following on from his impressive 2024 NPL Men’s NSW season with the Marconi Stallions which saw him earn Player of the Match plaudits in last Saturday’s Grand Final victory has come the news that James Temelkovski has been snapped up by the Western Sydney Wanderers for the upcoming A-League season.
Temelkovski joins the club from National Premier League Champions Marconi Stallions where he scored 18 goals in 23 appearances for the club.
Prior to making waves at Marconi, Temelkovski plied his trade at South Australian NPL outfit North Eastern Metrostars where he scored 27 goals in 23 matches in the league.
Temelkovski said he wanted to repay the Wanderers for believing in him.
“I’m very happy to be here, I was offered a great opportunity by the coaches and I want to repay the club for believing in me,” said Temelkovski.
“I hope to bring value to the club and my time in the National Premier League has taught me the importance of hard-work, discipline and patience.
“I would like to thank my family and my manager for believing in me. I would also like to thank the Western Sydney Wanderers for welcoming me to their club.”
JT joins Ben Gibson and Dean Pelekanos in a growing list of NPL Men’s NSW players that had a great year this season.
