After clinching the 2024 National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW Premiership, Rockdale Ilinden have set its sights for more glory as Paul Dee and his troops prepare for a massive season ahead.

Hoping to go one step better after suffering a heart-breaking 2024 Grand Final loss at the hands of the Marconi Stallions, Dee has managed to snag a number of quality players that are set to further bolster an already strong squad.

Former Brisbane Roar defender James Nikolovski will once again call Ilinden home while ex-Wollongong Wolves midfielder Chris McStay returns to the club after spending a couple of seasons down the South Coast. Former Sydney Olympic striker Oliver Puflett has also made the move from Ilinden’s cross-town rivals as has towering defensive midfielder and former St George City hardman Matthew Keremelevski.

The big mover and shaker has been the signing of former Melbourne City ace Moudi Najjar. Having signed for the start of the 2024 NPL Men’s NSW season, Najjar set the pre-season alight with several notable performances before departing just before the NPL season kicking off earning a contract in South Korea. Najjar has made the move back to the club and is hoping to add more power to the club’s already strong attacking front.

Back-to-Back NPL Men’s NSW Player of the Year and Golden Boot award winner, club captain Alec Urosevski will look towards breaking more records resigning for the new season as has fellow teammates Brayden Sorge, Blake Ricciuto, Brendan Cholakian, Isaac Danzo, Lochlan Constable, Giorgio Speranza, Hunter Elliot, Brae Ovens, Jason Cakovski and big shotstopper Nicholas Sorras all penning new deals. The great news coming out from the club has been the re-signing of Mathieu Cordier who suffered a horrific season ending leg injury last season.

The reigning Premiers take on St George City in their round 1 clash at the Ilinden Sports Centre on Saturday, 8th of February.
