Whiffen and Ruiz-Diaz to call Olympic home
Ahead of Sydney Olympic FC’s opening round clash against St George FC, the Blues have announced two major signings that will feature at Belmore Sports Ground tomorrow.
Midfielder Thomas Whiffen and ace striker Dylan Ruiz-Diaz will both call Olympic home after spending time overseas.
Whiffen joins from Czech National Football League side SFC Opava while Ruiz-Diaz joins from Brazilian side Londrina ahead of the 2025 season.
The club also announced that Futsalroo and defender Peter Politis looks likely to miss the entire NPL Men’s NSW season following an unfortunate knee injury sustained during the club’s Greek Herald Cup match against South Melbourne FC.
