Sydney Olympic have comprehensively smashed Manly United 5-1 at a rainy Cromer Park on Friday evening as they once again pushed their intentions for a top six finals finish.
A memorable hat-trick to Ryan Feutz saw him strike in the 10th, 45th and 83rd minutes of the game whilst a wonder strike to Adam Parkhouse was arguably the pick of the bunch as he too impressed against his former side.
Cyrus Dehmie also added to his tally for Olympic this year while Farah Koko scored a consolation goal for the Northern Beaches side.
Sutherland Sharks 4 v Sydney FC 0 @ Seymour Shaw – Full Match Report and Highlights
The Sutherland Sharks have taken a huge step in its fight against relegation following a stunning 4-0 victory over Sydney FC in tough conditions at Seymour Shaw on Saturday.
For the majority of the match, the Sharks were on top in rainy conditions as they put a young ‘Sky Blues’ side under the hammer and broke their four-game losing streak in style.
Goals to Yianni Nicolaou, Richard Shoueiki, Mo Ahmed and a stunner from Tariq Maia all but sealed a memorable win for the Sharks who needed the win to continue its run against the relegation drop.
WSW 1 v St George City 1 @ Wanderers Football Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
St George City impressively overturned a one-goal deficit while a man down to seal a well-earned 1-1 draw with the Western Sydney Wanderers, giving them an important boost as they continue fighting for a top six finish.
The hosts went ahead via Max Hately before a red card to Marc McNulty right before the break changed the game dramatically, though City captain Solomon-Johnn Monahan-Vaiika stepped up to ensure they left with a point.
It was a case of three dropped points for the hosts as they continued its fight against the dreaded relegation drop.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers 3 v Wollongong Wolves 1 @ Popondetta Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
Mount Druitt Town Rangers recorded a massive three points following its 3-1 victory over finals chasing Wollongong Wolves at Popondetta Park on a wet and dreary Saturday.
The hosts took the lead in the 31st minute from a well taken Yuto Morita finish for 1-0 before Nicholas Olsen equalised for the Wolves in the 37th minute.
The Rangers would take a 2-1 lead into the break after Abraham Majok’s 45th minute goal.
The Rangers held off a late Wolves charge and Bilal Belkadi sealed the win from the spot in the 95th minute to secure the three valuable points in its fight against relegation.
Marconi 3 v APIA Leichhardt FC 2 @ Marconi Stadium – Full Match Report and Highlights
Marconi Stadium hosted the classic Derby D’Italia as Marconi Stallions managed to get away with a 3-2 win over APIA Leichhardt in what was a highly entertaining game of football.
The first half saw four goals fire through with Tyren Burnie kicking off the proceedings scoring in the 22nd minute before Franco Farinella equalising three minutes later.
Julian Monge put the Stallions ahead in the 38th minute with a well taken but on the stroke of half-time Alex Denmead levelled the scores.
The action was electric on and off the park and the ‘Palace’ hit another decibel when Damian Tsekenis scored what ended up being the winning goal in a crucial three points for the Stallions who continue to heap pressure on current NPL Men’s NSW front runners NWS Spirit FC.
Rockdale Ilinden 1 v Central Coast Mariners 1 @ Ilinden Sports Centre – Full Match Report and Highlights
Rockdale Ilinden and the Central Coast Mariners played out a dramatic 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon at the Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre.
Originally set for Pluim Park, the match was moved due to wild weather conditions, but the rain didn’t dampen the intensity as both sides fought hard for the points.
The Mariners looked to have sealed the win when Jordan Small came off the bench and linked up with Harper Ryles, who netted the opener in the 80th minute.
However, Rockdale refused to give in. Deep into stoppage time, Ali Auglah found the equaliser in the 95th minute, rescuing a point for the hosts in a tense finish.

This match has been rescheduled to be played on Wednesday 13th of August at 7pm due to Sydney United 58’s Hahn Australia Cup involvement against Sydney FC.
