The Sky Blues opened the scoring early through 16-year-old Akol Akon who headed home from a Taye Headley corner to make it 1-0 in the 10th minute and held off the marching Saints for much of the game.
St George FC finished the game off strong and equalised in the 85th minute. Troy Danaskos swept home from a corner to make it 1-1 and substitute Nicholas Kalogerou was denied late by Man of the Match Sydney FC custodian Alexander Zaverdinos to make sure it ended square.

Sydney Olympic 2 v Rockdale Ilinden 2 @ Jubilee Stadium  – Full Match Report and Highlights
A brace from Ryan Feutz headlined an absolute thriller between a ten-man Sydney Olympic and Rockdale Ilinden that eventually saw both teams settle for a 2-2 draw.
Feutz’s two goals either side of Ali Auglah’s goal put the Blues in good stead only for James Nikolovski to rescue a draw for Ilinden at the death, marking their fourth straight draw.

Sydney United 58 took another step towards finals football with their 1-0 win against Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC on Saturday night at Popondetta Park.
The visitors built on their midweek triumph with another solid performance. Mason Wells tapped home for 1-0 in the 35th minute to lead at the break.
The Rangers huffed and puffed in the second half but couldn’t find a way past Vedran Janjetovic. They sealed the win in the 92nd minute through Mario Shabow after some superb lead up from substitute Richard Darko for 2-0.

Wollongong Wolves 1 v NWS Spirit FC 1 @ Macedonia Park  – Full Match Report and Highlights
Wollongong Wolves put a hold on NWS Spirit FC’s Premiership glory for now as both sides shared the points in a 1-1 draw on a cold Saturday evening at Macedonia Park.

Marconi Stallions closed the gap at the top of the NPL Men’s NSW ladder in Round 28 with a convincing 4-2 win over Manly United after NWS Spirit FC were held back by Wollongong Wolves the previous night.
All six goals came in the second half with Kyle Cimenti kicking the spree of scoring in the 58th minute before an own goal from Aaron O’Driscoll made it 2-0.
Darcy Burgess pulled one back for the visitors from the spot, but Marko Jesic scored two minutes later in the 69th minute to give his side a two-goal buffer before Franco Maya added his side’s fourth with two minutes remaining.

In the second half, a late flurry secured a 5-0 victory, with a thunderous Seiya Kambayashi strike supplemented by a quickfire brace from Presley Ortiz to secure APIA’s 18th win of the season.

Central Coast Mariners 0 v St George City 0 @ Pluim Park  – Full Match Report and Highlights
The Central Coast Mariners shared points with St George City with a 0-0 draw at Pluim Park on Sunday afternoon.
The two teams were hungry for the win with finals on the line for the visitors and important points to avoid relegation in the sights of the hosts.
Both sides continued to push to take hold of the game until the final whistle but weren’t able to make their mark, with the National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s Round 28 Match of the Round ending in a draw.

Blacktown City 1 v Western Sydney Wanderers 0 @ Landen Stadium  – Full Match Report and Highlights

Blacktown City are back to winning ways after a solid 1-0 win over a struggling Western Sydney Wanderers side at Landen Stadium.
The Western Sydney Wanderers’ defence strategy became clear very early on, getting as many bodies back in the box as they could to block any Blacktown City offence and neither side could get ahead in the first half.
It was super sub Reuben Awaritefe who broke the deadlock, charging through the Wanderers’ defence and scoring the winner against his old club with less than ten minutes to go to push his side to fifth on the ladder.
