The stage is set for a massive day of football this Saturday as the 2025 National Premier Leagues (NPL) NSW Grand Finals head to Jubilee Stadium — and fans watching from home are in for a treat with a top-tier commentary line-up set to call the action.

In the NPL Women’s NSW Grand Final, the newly crowned 2025 Premiers Bulls FC Academy will go head-to-head with APIA Leichhardt FC in what promises to be a thrilling clash. Leading the broadcast will be one of the country’s most respected voices in football, Teo Pellizzeri, who will bring his signature energy and insight to the coverage. Joining him in the commentary box will be none other than Teresa Polias, former Matildas midfielder and A-League Women’s icon. With her deep understanding of the game and championship-winning experience, Polias adds invaluable perspective to the high-stakes encounter.

“To have APIA playing for their third trophy of the season and Bulls their second is a fitting climax for what has been a great season,” said Pellizzeri.

“It’s a privilege to be asked to steer the broadcast for our live audience and be entrusted to capture what will no doubt be an enduring piece of history for the winning team.”

Later in the day, the NPL Men’s NSW Grand Final will see two powerhouses collide as APIA Leichhardt FC face off against Rockdale Ilinden. Calling this blockbuster will be the ever-reliable Alex Molchanoff, a familiar voice to fans of the league, known for his comprehensive knowledge and passion for the local game. He’ll be joined by Nikola Pozder, whose tactical insight and strong connection to NPL NSW football make him a well-seasoned caller. Will Konstantinidis will also feature as a sideline eye in both matches.

“The two contrasting narratives lend themselves to a really tense affair – APIA I think come in as very slight favourites owing to their consistency over the course of 30 rounds and some of the thrilling football they’ve played over the course of the year,” said Molchanoff.

“All that along with the record they hold against Rockdale recently, having done the double over in the league this season, as well as the happy memories they carry from their Waratah Cup win at the same ground against the same opposition last season.

“Rockdale’s slide in defence of their Premiership title toward the end of the season has made the run through the finals all the sweeter – the form they’ve carried through the finals has been akin to the level they were producing for the majority of the 2024 title run.

“Football’s stories are the game’s greatest asset and for that reason a Rockdale win would sit nicely because of the fact the core of this group has lost 2 Grand Finals and that Cup Final against APIA last season. To win here though, they’ll need to put in their finest performance yet. I think they’re capable of doing that.

“If you’re a fan of football this clash will keep you engaged for as long as it takes to separate them and if you’ve been following this competition all year you know how much this day means to both teams.

“For that reason, it’s such a privilege to be a small part in telling the story of the day.”

With a combination of hardened broadcasters and former elite players, this commentary team is primed to deliver expert analysis, big-game atmosphere, and in-depth storytelling to showcase the pinnacle of NPL NSW football.
