New Era at Belmore as Sydney Olympic FC Unveil Revamped Squad for 2026

Sydney Olympic FC are embracing a bold new era ahead of the 2026 National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW season, with David Magrone set to lead the club into the campaign in his first year coaching at the men’s top-tier level.
It shapes as an almost completely new-look Blues outfit, with a host of fresh faces arriving at Belmore Sports Ground as Olympic look to reset and challenge strongly in the upcoming season.
Among the new signings to pull on the famous blue and white jersey are Samuel Bosnajk, Marco Arambasic, Marcus Fernandez, Daniel Wong, Peter Grozos, Yuta Kamura, Yuto Fujita, Josip Orlovic, Max Luburic, Ben Giason, Jacob Tresoglavic, Kim Jun-Yong, Joshua Hong and Dom Ciano. The influx of talent brings a mix of domestic experience and international flair, providing Magrone with depth and versatility across the park.
While much of the squad has been refreshed, a small group of familiar faces remains to anchor the side. Bailey Callaghan, Peter Politis and Ziggy Gordon are among the few survivors from last season’s squad, offering continuity and leadership as Olympic transition into this new phase.
With Magrone at the helm and a revamped roster assembled, expectations are high that Sydney Olympic FC can reassert themselves as a force in the NPL Men’s NSW competition. The focus now turns to how quickly the new group can gel and translate promise into performances.
Sydney Olympic FC will kick off their 2026 NPL Men’s NSW campaign with a marquee opening-round clash against Blacktown City FC on Saturday, 7 February at Belmore Sports Ground, setting the stage for what looms as a fascinating season ahead for the Blues.
