SD Raiders FC are set to embark on a landmark chapter in the club’s history, preparing for their first-ever season in the National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW following a memorable promotion campaign.

Under the guidance of head coach Goran Ljoboja, alongside assistant coach Jordan Figon, the Raiders enter NSW’s top-flight competition with ambition, belief and a strong sense of identity. The coaching duo will be tasked with leading the club through uncharted territory as they aim to establish themselves at NPL Men’s level.

At the heart of SD Raiders’ push will be League One Men’s Player of the Year and former Rydalmere FC standout Robert Eremugo, who will bring with him that match-winning quality. Eremugo will be supported by a core group of influential players including Marty Fernandez, Lachlan Everett and Thomas Makko, all expected to play key roles in the club’s debut campaign.

The return of inspirational captain James Letta provides further stability, while a well-rounded squad featuring goalkeeper Michael Figueira, Ethan Beaven, Yonathan Sebhatu, Cooper Hanagan, Thomas Santarossa, Seb Malfara, Luka Knezevic, Mihael Marcic, Charlie Ragg, Noah Chianese and Jakov Malbasa gives the Raiders depth across the park.

SD Raiders FC will be eager to turn Ernie Smith Reserve into a stronghold as they adapt to the demands of top-tier football.

The Raiders’ historic NPL Men’s NSW journey will begin under lights, with a Friday night clash against Sydney FC at the Ilinden Sports Centre on Friday, 6 February, a fitting stage for a club ready to announce its arrival.

As SD Raiders FC step onto the NPL Men’s NSW stage for the first time, the challenge is clear and so too is the excitement surrounding a club determined to make its mark.
