The National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW competition kicks off tonight with an unmistakable new energy, as a wave of Japanese-born talent prepares to leave its mark on the 2026 season.

As many as 18 players born and bred in Japan are set to lace up the boots across the league, highlighting the growing influence of Japanese footballers within the NPL Men’s NSW landscape.
