Big Names Move as NPL NSW Mid-Season Transfer Window Slams Shut
The mid-season transfer window in the National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW competition officially closed on Thursday 2 July, with a flurry of late activity delivering several headline-grabbing signings across the competition.
Among the biggest moves, Alou Kuol (Blacktown City FC) headlines a major acquisition for the club, while Matthew Jurman (Sutherland Sharks FC) brings experience and leadership to the Sharks’ defensive unit. In another significant addition, James Temelkovski (Rockdale Ilinden FC) joins the reigning contenders as they strengthen their attacking depth, while Frans Deli (APIA Leichhardt FC) adds further quality ahead of the Waratah Cup finalists’ run home.
Elsewhere, clubs across the league and lower tiers made a series of late adjustments as they look to shape their squads for the final stretch of the season.
