Football NSW Announces Outcome Of NPL Men’s NSW Round 18 Investigation

Football NSW has completed its investigation into the Round 18 NPL Men’s NSW First Grade fixture between Blacktown City FC and Rockdale Ilinden FC.

Following the investigation, it has been determined that Rockdale Ilinden FC inadvertently fielded an ineligible player during the fixture as part of the 2026 NPL Men’s NSW First Grade competition.

In accordance with Section 3, Article 4(d) of the 2026 Competition Regulations, Rockdale Ilinden FC will forfeit the Round 18 match.

Football NSW acknowledges that the breach occurred as a result of an inadvertent administrative error and was not the result of any deliberate attempt to gain a sporting advantage.

However, the prescribed outcome must be applied in line with the Competition Regulations and the information previously provided to all participating clubs.

The NPL Men’s NSW First Grade competition table and results have been updated to reflect the outcome.
