Fromer Mariner calls Sydney United 58 home
Sydney United 58 FC have confirmed the signing of former Central Coast Mariners midfielder Glen Trifiro till the remainder of the PlayStation4 NPL NSW Men’s season.
Trifiro, a former United 58 player, has come into Mark Rudan’s squad to further bolster the team’s push for some silverware as well as a good run in the Westfield FFA Cup with the official draw to be announced next Thursday.
Sydney United 58 FC are currently riding high on the competition ladder and have also booked a spot into this year’s Waratah Cup Final against Manly United to be played on Sunday 10th of July at Lambert Park.
The 26-year old’s silky skills and his ability to thread quality passes will only further boost the Reds’ chances of more silverware.
This will be his third stint at the club as he played with the Edensor Park based side in 2009 and 2013-14.
His brother Jason recently returned to NSW’s top tier competition and was snapped up by the Blacktown Spartans.
Round 17 will see the two go head to head in what should be an exciting day for the Trifiro clan.
