Even though former A-League star Tarek Elrich stole the headlines for being Mt Druitt Town Rangers’ prized signing, coach Franco Cosentino will also call upon two very gifted Japanese footballers for the 2021 National Premier Leagues season in Takumu Tsujimura and Fumoto Kamada.

Tsujimura will be wearing the coveted number ten jersey for Cosentino’s side, a heavy number for anyone, club sources have stated that Takumu will be in and amongst the assists and goals this season.

A crafty technical attacking midfielder, he is sure to entertain the Mt Druitt Town faithful at Popondetta Park.

While fellow Japanese compatriot Fumoto Kamada will be another to look out for known for his darting runs down the left flank, the talented winger has an eye for goal which was shown during his time in the Illawarra Premier League with the Tarrawanna Blueys.

With the Japanese player market continually making its way into the National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition, the state has seen some amazing players hail from the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’.

Both Takumu and Fumoto hope they too can write their own headlines with some eye-catching performances in this year’s NPL NSW Men’s competition.

Along with the two Oriental stars and Elrich, former Sutherland Sharks and A-League defender Marc Warren, former Western Sydney Wanderer excitement machine Alusine Fofanah and experienced former Northbridge FC striker Mitch Smith will also call Mt Druitt home.

There is a great energy around the Popondetta Park based side and the club cannot wait for its opening round 1 clash against Manly United at Cromer Park on the 26th of February.
