Ambitious National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s club Mt Druitt Town Rangers have appointed long serving club Senior Technical Director Stewart Montgomery as head coach replacing Franco Cosentino with the competition kicking off next Friday evening.
The club mutually agreed to terms with Cosentino in parting ways which resulted in the 53-year-old getting the go-ahead alongside assistant coach Stamati Glaros with the duo hoping to bring success and silverware to the club.
The Rangers have recruited heavily during the off-season with former A-League star Tarek Elrich, ex-Sutherland Sharks skipper Marc Warren and Japanese duo Takumu Tsujimura and Fumoto Kamada all brought to Popondetta Park with the hope of playing finals football.
Montgomery and Glaros’ first assignment will be at Cromer Park on Friday 26th of February as they take on Manly United at Cromer Park with kick off set for 7pm – The game, like all other NPL Men’s top tier matches will be shown LIVE and EXCLUSIVE to NPL.TV.
