Marconi Stallions snap up Hatch

Current National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s Premiership hopefuls Marconi Stallions have announced the signing of former Central Coast Mariners and Perth Glory youngster Matthew Hatch for the remainder of the season.

The 22-year-old born and bred from the Central Coast, played with the Mariners for two seasons where he made 20 appearances and scored five goals before moving to Perth Glory last year.

Hatch, known for having the record as scoring the fastest debut goal in the A-League after 25 seconds, will look to bolster the Stallions line-up that is stacked with quality.

Hatch will make his debut for the side in their Round 21 clash against Blacktown City this Sunday at Landen Stadium.

Peter Tsekenis’ side are currently caught in a three-way Premiership battle alongside APIA Leichhardt and Rockdale Ilinden and will hope to land silverware, something that has eluded the former NSL giants with the last trophy being lifted in 2019 when they took out the Waratah Cup.
