Hills United FC ready for the big stage
Newly promoted National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW side Hills United FC have confirmed its player roster ready to do battle in this year’s competition.
Coached by former Socceroo and ex-NSL defender Luke Casserly, the club has moved swiftly in retaining several of its stars who guided them to promotion as well as recruiting some quality, preparing them for a big year ahead.
Former Central Coast Mariners star and German ace Nicolai Muller will once again feature for the club as will 2023 standout shotstopper Ryan Wood. Long serving club stalwart Glen Kelshaw will lead the team as club captain once more while Mitch Smith, Jamal Belkadi, Brian Jamba, Tommy Makko and Futsalroo Wade Giovenali have also re-signed with the club.
The likes of new faces such as Anthony Frangie, Daniel Petkovski, Caleb Jackson-Brown and Sunday Yona, Thomas Lopez and Japanese import Yu Okubo to name a few.
Hills United FC’s first match in the top flight will be against Sydney Olympic on Saturday 17th of February at Belmore Sports Ground.
