Sydney FC 0 v Manly United 0 at Cromer Park – Match Report and Highlights
Manly United played out a scoreless 0-0 draw against a spirited Sydney FC outfit in Round 4 of the National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW competition played at Cromer Park on Friday evening.
Limited chances were seen as both teams were unable to break the deadlock with both defences and keepers playing a pivotal role in keeping the match scoreless.
Sutherland Sharks 1 v Sydney Olympic 5 at Valentine Sports Park – Match Report and Highlights
It was one way traffic in the Match of the Round as Sydney Olympic showed all its class smashing the Sutherland Sharks 5-1 at Valentine Sports Park on Saturday.
The goals started as early as the first minute as Olympic were awarded a penalty which Teng Kuol took but was saved by Danijel Nizic only to smash it home for the opener.
The Blues were on another level as Cyrus Dehmie and Dylan Ruiz-Diaz scored a brace each which cancelled out Sharks’ Ikko Arimoto with the visitors playing with ten men as Kotaro Katsuta got his marching orders midway through the second half in a statement victory by the former NSL giants.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers 2 v Rockdale Ilinden 3 at Popondetta Park – Match Report and Highlights
Rockdale Ilinden FC took the spoils in a pulsating 3-2 victory against Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC at Popondetta Park.
The hosts took the lead in the 38th minute through an own goal via Blake Ricciuto then Moudii Najjar levelled for Rockdale in the 44th minute for 1-1 just before the break.
Rockdale regained the lead in the 71st minute through Alec Urosevski after Jared Macerola saw red for the Rangers.
The Rangers fought back and levelled from the spot through John Azar in the 89th minute but Isaac Danzo settled the game with a stunner in the 95th minute for a 3-2 Rockdale win.
Sydney United 58 2 v WS Wanderers 0 at Sydney United Sports Centre – Match Report and Highlights
Sydney United 58 secured their first win of the 2025 season after defeating Western Sydney Wanderers 2-0 at Sydney United Sports Centre.
The hosts navigated the absence of numerous senior players with goals from Tariq Maia and Leroy Jennings proving the difference between the two outfits.
NWS Spirit FC 2 v St George City 0 at Christie Park – Match Report and Highlights
NWS Spirit FC triumphed 2-0 over St George City in Round 4 at Christie Park to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Both offensively and defensively the ladder-leaders were on fire as the hosts scored courtesy of Zane Ahluwalia and Michael Konestabo with one goal in each half.
Whilst Goalkeeper Christopher Marques held firm with some fantastic saves at either end of the field to help his side earn a third clean sheet of the new campaign.
Wollongong Wolves 2 v Central Coast Mariners 2 at WIN Stadium – Match Report and Highlights
Central Coast Mariners picked up their first point of the season equalising late in a 2-2 draw with Wollongong Wolves on Saturday night at WIN Stadium.
The game had a fast-paced tempo in the first half, and the Wolves burst into a two-goal lead within 26 minutes.
Alex Masciovecchio opened the scoring before the in-form Nicholas Olsen added a second a few minutes later. Ayouk Mouk pulled one back for the away side not long after that to get his team back into the game as they went into the sheds.
In a cagey second half, Arthur De Lima popped up with an equaliser with only seconds to spare for the Mariners.
Marconi 1 v St George FC 1 at Marconi Stadium – Match Report and Highlights
After weeks of late heartbreak, St George FC held it together to secure a hard fought 1-1 draw against 2024 National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW Champions Marconi Stallions at Marconi Stadium on Saturday.
The Stallions held the lead for the majority of the game after Damian Tsekenis opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, but an 84th minute goal to St George’s Sunday Yona was enough to upset the hosts and leave the game to finish in a deadlock.
Blacktown City 4 v APIA Leichhardt FC 3 at Landen Stadium – Match Report and Highlights
A late Danny Choi stunner secured all three points for Blacktown City for their first win 2025 at Landen Stadium this season after they took down APIA Leichhardt FC 4-3 on Sunday.
Keanu Moore opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Cameron Fong scored the equaliser for APIA in the 31st minute.
Mitchell Mallia put the hosts ahead right on half-time as the City boys went into the break with not just the lead but the confidence to go on with the match.
The game looked over when Jak O’Brien scored straight from the kick-off in the second half but APIA battled hard as Presley Ortiz grabbed a double bringing the game level 3-3.
It looked as if both teams were happy to settle for the point but Danny Choi had other ideas scoring a quality goal as Mark Crittenden’s men celebrated a monumental victory giving APIA it’s second loss in four matches.
