Manly United 5 v Mt Druitt Town Rangers 0 at Cromer Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
Manly United put on a Friday night show against Mount Druitt Town Rangers humbling the newly promoted side 5-0 at Cromer Park.
Manly went into halftime with a two-goal lead courtesy of Harry McCarthy and Harry Van der Saag.
Van der Saag added his second soon after halftime before substitutes Darcy Burgess and Benjamin Koop also found the net.
St George FC 3 v Sutherland Sharks FC 0 at Barton Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
St George have secured their first win of the season with a comprehensive performance at Barton Park, beating Sutherland Sharks 3-0.
The opening goal came in the 12th minute, with a fantastic drive and pass from Sunday Yona freeing Aedan O’Shea, who finished calmly in the box.
A Bai Antoniou double – assisted by Jaden Casella – put St George three goals ahead at halftime, and they held that scoreline comfortably in the second half in a strong performance in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
Marconi 1 v Sydney Olympic 1 at Marconi Stadium – Full Match Report and Highlights
The Marconi Stallions shared points with Sydney Olympic in a 1-1 draw at Marconi Stadium on Saturday night.
The visitors made an immediate impact on the match with a goal from Teng Kuol in the first minute.
Despite plenty of action throughout the match, Olympic held the 1-0 lead until the 83rd minute when the hosts were finally able to break onto the scoreboard through substitute Matej Busek.
The result leaves the two sides at one point apart on the National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s ladder at the end of Round 5.
Rockdale Ilinden 1 v Wollongong Wolves 1 at Ilinden Sports Centre – Full Match Report and Highlights
It took a last gasp equaliser from the league’s most prolific striker Alec Urosevski to send the Wollongong Wolves packing with a point in a hard fought 1-1 all draw at the Ilinden Sports Centre on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead in 4th minute when ex-Ilinden player Alex Masciovecchio found the net and celebrated in some style with a backflip as Wolves’ netted in their first attack which stunned the 2024 Premiers.
Alec Urosevski was to be the hosts hero as his well taken goal with two minutes to spare was enough to see his side rescue a point against the South Coast side.
Western Sydney Wanderers 2 v NWS Spirit FC 3 at Wanderers Football Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
NWS Spirit FC kept up their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-2 win against a gallant Western Sydney Wanderers side.
The hosts took the lead twice through Alaat Abdul-Rahman in the 18th minute before Marco Arambasic levelled in the 22nd minute.
An own goal gave them the lead in the 44th minute but a stoppage time header from Michael Konestabo made it 2-2 at the break.
Konestabo struck again in 62nd minute to give them all three points.
St George City 0 v Blacktown City 2 at Penshurst Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
Blacktown City took home the three points with a 2-0 win over St George City in what was a tough round 5 National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW encounter at Penshurst Park on Saturday.
The visitors hit the back of the net twice in the second stanza of play in what was a fairly even contest overall through Mitchell Mallia and later Danny Choi to break the hearts of the many St George City supporters that had turned up for the big occasion of hosting Blacktown City.
Sydney United 58 0 v Central Coast Mariners 3 at Sydney United Sports Centre – Full Match Report and Highlights
The young Mariners won their first win of the 2025 season after scoring an impressive 3-0 victory over Sydney United 58 at their home of Sydney United Sports Centre.
Young striker Bailey Brandtman was the chief protagonist of the clash, bagging a first half brace with goals in the 17th and 43rd minute before Carlos De Lima sealed the points with a third in the 90+5th minute.
APIA Leichhardt FC 2 v Sydney FC 0 at Lambert Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
APIA Leichhardt are back to winning ways with their first clean sheet of the season following a tough fought 2-0 win over Sydney FC at Lambert Park.
APIA took no time at all to put themselves in front, with a great cross from the in-form Jordan Segreto setting up a brilliant finish from Michael Kouta and a 1-0 lead just a handful of minutes after kick-off.
Sydney FC battled hard and made it tough for APIA but the match took a turn for the better for the hosts as Alex Denmead notched up midway through the second half to gift his side the three precious points.
