Sydney FC will once again showcase one of the competition’s most exciting youth-driven squads in the upcoming National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW season, with a host of emerging talents primed to take the league by storm.

Under the guidance of head coach Jimmy van Weeren, the Sky Blues will lean on a talented group of young players, many of whom have already tasted senior football at A-League Men’s level. Gus Hoefsloot, Wataru Kamijo, Taye Hedley, Junior Conde, Mitch Glasson, Tiago Quintal, Jordan Graoroski, Lachlan Middleton, Zac De Jesus, Nickolas Alfaro, Marin France, Akol Akon and Mathias Macallister are all set to feature prominently in what shapes as a strong and dynamic line-up.

Sydney FC’s squad depth is further highlighted by a number of players eager to seize their opportunity in the NPL Men’s NSW environment. Reef Farias, Caelan Marshall-Witte, Nicholas Zdrilic, Nicolas Calder, Zac Fowler, Jared Middleton, Jay Maltz and Tyler Williams will all be looking to use the competition as a platform to continue their development and push for greater involvement at the professional level.

With the NPL Men’s NSW competition continuing to serve as a critical pathway to the A-League Men’s, Sydney FC’s young prospects will be aiming to impress current Sky Blues head coach Ufuk Talay as they look to translate strong performances into higher honours.

Sydney FC’s 2026 campaign gets underway on Friday, 6 February, with a Round 1 clash against competition newcomers SD Raiders FC at the Ilinden Sports Centre.
