Wollongong Wolves FC Set Sights on 2026 NPL Men’s NSW Campaign

Wollongong Wolves FC are turning their attention to the upcoming National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW season, with the 2026 campaign set to kick off in just a few weeks.
Under the guidance of former Socceroo and past NPL Men’s NSW Coach of the Year Luke Wilkshire, the South Coast club enters the new season with high expectations as they look to build momentum and challenge strongly across the competition.
Continuity has been a key focus during the off-season, with the Wolves retaining a strong core of experienced players. Ace striker Lachlan Scott headlines the list of re-signings, alongside goalkeeper Daniel Solsky, Dylan Ryan, Banri Kanaizumi, Flynn Madden, Sebastian Hernandez, Dax Kelly, Marcus Beattie and Alex Masciovecchio, providing stability and familiarity heading into 2026.
The club has also added experience and physicality to its squad, welcoming former A-League defender Tate Russell, who joined the Wolves during the Australian Championship. His arrival adds further steel and leadership to Wilkshire’s defensive options.
Among the headline signings is Brazilian attacking talent Felipe D’Agostini, who is set to bring flair and firepower to the Wolves’ forward line. Fellow Australian Championship recruit Kazuya Yamamura, a Japanese midfielder, will also make his NPL Men’s NSW debut this season, adding technical quality and creativity in midfield.
Further strengthening the squad, Wollongong have secured the services of Liam Ball, Noah Mathie, Lucas Trajcevski, Sebastian Duarte, Taj DeMito, Dylan King and Max Cunial, rounding out a balanced group capable of competing at a high level.
Wollongong Wolves FC will open their 2026 campaign on the road, travelling to Barton Park to face St George FC on Saturday, 7 February, in what shapes as a strong early test for the South Coast side.
