Five out of the six matches took place across Sydney as Round 4 of the National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s ‘Team of the Week’ was announced following a string of notable performances that earned their stripes.

Veteran keeper Ivan Necevski kept a clean sheet as APIA Leichhardt defeated Blacktown City 1-0 with the shotstopper in great form thwarting several lethal attacks.

Manly United’s Japanese import Seiya Kambayashi, APIA’s rising young gun Nicholas Azzone and Marconi Stallions’ tall timber defender Nathan Millgate all earned themselves spots in the backline.

The midfield was stacked full of talent with quality youngsters running the show with hat-trick hero Rory Jordan from the Northbridge Bulls and Sydney FC’s midfield maestro Corey Hollman pulling huge matches for their respective clubs.

Jason Madonis continued his rich vein of form with his new club the Sutherland Sharks bagging another spot in the ‘Team of the Week’ while it was a first inclusion for Blacktown City’s Dakota Askew.

The front three pairing would scare any defence across the land with Rockdale’s Alec Urosevski, Marconi’s Marko Jesic and Sutherland Sharks’ James Andrew finalising the potent strike-force.

Congrats to all players for their inclusions in this week’s Round 4 NPL NSW Men’s ‘Team of the Week’.
