Let’s check out the mini reviews from Round 21 of the National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW competition.
Manly United 0 v St George City 2 at Cromer Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
A blistering start guided St George City to a 2-0 win over Manly United on Friday night at Cromer Park. Paolo Mitry opened the scoring for the away side before Grimaldi added a second goal in a flying first 12 minutes, which proved the platform for victory.
Mitry’s goal in particular was one of the goals of the NPL Men’s NSW season such was the venom behind his 40-yard stunner. The victory for City has once again pushed their cause for a late surge into the top six while it was more woes for Manly who have not registered a victory in five weeks.

Blacktown City made the most of their chances to seal a great 2-0 win over Sydney Olympic at Jubilee Stadium on Saturday.
Blacktown owed the win to a stellar volleyed strike by Jakob Cresnar and a penalty goal from Jak O’Brien, with the result strongly boosting their chances of finals football.
St George FC 2 v APIA Leichhardt FC 3 at Barton Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
APIA Leichhardt FC were made to work for the three points but got the job done in the end securing a 3-2 win over St George FC at Barton Park on Saturday night.

The hosts took the lead in the 27th minute from the spot through Edmun Haddad for 1-0 before the Wolves equalised in the second half through Nicholas Olsen in the 76th minute. Both sides had late chances to win the match but the game ended in a stalemate in what was a close game of football.
Central Coast Mariners 2 v Mt Druitt Town Rangers 0 at Pluim Park – Full Match Report and Highlights
In what was seen as a match against two relegation threatened sides, the Central Coast Mariners secured a 2-0 victory over the Mt Druitt Town Rangers at Pluim Park on Sunday afternoon to ease some pressure and push the visitors to the foot of the ladder.
An early goal from Ahmed Elhelou opened the scoring in just the 8th minute and Jai Rose doubled the hosts’ lead just after the half-time break in the 51st minute. Central Coast suffered a blow in the 58th minute as Ben Mewett was sent from the field with a straight red card, giving Mt Druitt a fantastic opportunity to get back into the match with an extra player for 30 minutes.
Unfortunately for the visitors they weren’t able to capitalise on their advantage, despite their attacking efforts in the final third of the game. The result could be crucial for the Mariners as they look to climb out of the relegation zone as the National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s season progresses.

Marconi Stallions have taken all three points from a near-fully dominant 1-0 performance against Sydney FC at Marconi Stadium.
The first half was one of missed opportunities for Marconi Stallions, with multiple clear opportunities missed despite a dominant performance.
