Champions APIA Leichhardt FC Set Sights on More Silverware in 2026

Reigning National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW Champions APIA Leichhardt FC will enter the 2026 season determined to add further silverware to their already impressive honours list, under the guidance of current Coach of the Year Franco Parisi.
Once again, the Inner West powerhouse is expected to be firmly among the contenders for both the Premiership and Championship, with Parisi boasting a squad rich in quality, depth and experience.
A strong foundation from the 2025 title-winning side remains intact, with goalkeeper Oliver Kalac among a host of players to recommit for the new campaign. Seiya Kambayashi, Jack Stewart, Presley Ortiz, Rory Jordan, Max Court, Sean Symons, Jordan Segreto, Fabian Monge, Michael Kouta, Eddie Caspers, Cameron Fong, Alex Denmead and Franco Farinella have all re-signed, ensuring continuity as APIA look to build on last season’s success.
A major boost for the club comes with the return of long-serving defender Themba Muata-Marlow, who makes his long-awaited comeback after a knee injury ruled him out for the entirety of the 2025 season.
APIA will also continue to back its youth pathway, with exciting prospects Max Court and Oscar Gonzalez set to be further unleashed at senior level as the club looks to promote its next generation of talent.
In addition, APIA have strengthened key areas of the squad with several notable signings. Defender Eijin Kishimoto arrives from Mounties Wanderers, while former St George FC striker Levi Sciuriaga adds firepower up front. Former Sydney FC defender Kyle Shaw has also joined the club, alongside one of the league’s most dangerous attacking midfielders, Michael Konestabo, who arrives from 2025 Premiers NWS Spirit FC.
With expectations always high at Lambert Park, APIA Leichhardt FC will begin their quest for further honours with a blockbuster Round 1 clash against arch-rivals Marconi Stallions. The highly anticipated season opener will take place at Marconi Stadium on Saturday, 7 February, setting the tone for what promises to be another compelling NPL Men’s NSW campaign.
