PlayStation4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s club Rockdale City Suns FC announced its 2017 NPL Youth League coaches’ line-up, headlined by former Sydney FC rising star Christopher Kiki Naumoff, who’ll be kick-starting his coaching career at the Rockdale City Suns.

Naumoff joined Sydney FC’s youth team from the PS4 NPL NSW Men’s outfit Sutherland Sharks in 2011 after winning the Under 20’s Championship and being crowned the Under 20’s Premier League Player of the Year 2012.

Having had a strong pre-season under Frank Farina where he scored 5 goals, Naumoff was handed his senior debut at home to the Newcastle Jets in Round 1 of the 2013-14 season where Sydney FC won 2-0.

On 16 June 2016, Naumoff agreed to a three-year deal with Spanish Segunda División side Numancia. After a medical examination and further testing, Naumoff was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).

On the 4th of July 2016, he announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 21 for health reasons but stated his wish to stay involved in the game.

The Suns offered an official statement regarding its success in obtaining Naumoff’s services.

“KIKI is proud to share his experiences and mentor our young footballers for the 2017 season and beyond.

“He is a dedicated footballer that knows what it takes to play at the highest level and we all welcome him to our club with open arms.”
