Both sides hit the woodwork, saw penalties saved, and forced key stops from the opposing goalkeepers in an evenly contested battle.
The Wolves looked dangerous on the counter through Flynn Madden and Sebastian Hernandez, while the Wanderers created multiple openings through Awan Lual and Atiya Waraga, but neither side could break the deadlock in a match that finished as tightly as it began.

SD Raiders FC 0 v NWS Spirit FC 0 @ Ernie Smith Reserve
SD Raiders and NWS Spirit FC played out a hard-fought, physical 0-0 draw at Ernie Smith Reserve in a match defined by intensity, defensive resilience and missed opportunities.

Marconi Stallions strengthened their title credentials with a commanding 2-0 win over Sydney Olympic, led by a double from captain Marko Jesic.
Marconi dominated large periods of the match, striking early through Jesic before controlling proceedings with strong attacking pressure and defensive discipline. Despite sustained pressure from Sydney United 58 after the break, including multiple saves from Oliver Kalac, APIA held firm defensively to secure a crucial win in a match that had the feel of a finals preview.

Blacktown City 2 v St George FC 1 @ Landen Stadium

In a lively, end-to-end contest, both sides had early chances before Major opened the scoring in fortuitous fashion just before half-time. St George responded after the break through Stavropoulos, but Major struck again in the 66th minute with a composed finish to restore Blacktown’s lead. The visitors pushed late but couldn’t find another breakthrough, as Blacktown held firm to claim three valuable points in their fight to climb away from the bottom of the ladder.
